BPC-157 + KPV + GHK-Cu Capsules

Identity

A fixed combination of three peptides in a single capsule: BPC-157, the pentadecapeptide derived from gastric juice; KPV, the Lys-Pro-Val tripeptide corresponding to the C-terminal fragment of alpha-MSH; and GHK-Cu, the copper-bound tripeptide.

Molecular target

Three distinct mechanisms rather than one. BPC-157 has no identified receptor and acts through FAK-paxillin and nitric-oxide signalling. KPV is largely receptor-independent and intracellular. GHK-Cu acts through copper delivery. The combination is therefore studied as a system, not as a single pharmacology.

Signalling pathway

KPV is examined for inhibition of NF-kappaB nuclear translocation and reduced pro-inflammatory cytokine transcription. BPC-157 contributes growth-factor and angiogenic signalling. GHK-Cu contributes copper-dependent regulation of matrix enzymes.

Research context

All three components have independent gastrointestinal literature, which is why this particular combination is examined in epithelial-barrier and tight-junction models. Being a fixed combination, it cannot separate the contribution of each component — a limitation worth stating in any protocol that uses it.
